VSO sends people not money. Through people we promote a more creative and lasting solution to global problems like poverty and inequality.

We tackle disadvantage by equipping people in developing and emerging countries with the skills they need to transform their communities and national economies.

Our vision depends on the passion and professionalism of the people we send each year. We know tackling poverty is a long-term goal, but we also know about the power of individuals to make a difference. The question is, will you commit two years of your life to helping others realise their potential?
