NetCorps specializes in internships for Canadian citizens. Most projects are in technology areas. Recent internships have been available in Costa Rica, Jamacia, Tunisia, Russia, and the Ukraine.

Programs

Projects run 4 to 6 months. Interns could be involved in a wide range of information technology work placements such as: Web page design and maintenance; Networking; Customized computer programming; Database or spreadsheet design using commonly available software; Desktop publishing.

Qualifications

Interns must be Canadian citizens between the ages of 19 and 30.

Financial Arrangements

Interns may be asked to contribute up to $500 of their personal funds or up to $1500 obtained through fund-raising.

Mission Statement

NetCorps Canada International is a Youth Employment Strategy (YES) program that provides exciting internships of approximately six months in developing countries around the world and in Canada for youth with information technology skills.
