Programs: Mental health project, (Gjakove, Kosovo, FRY) - primary Health Program (Gjakove - Kosovo - FRY)- primary Health Program (Arlit-Niger).
Läkare i Världen currently has projects in Kosovo, Niger, Russia and Sweden. LIV has recently concluded work in Albania, and previously has worked with MDM France on a mental health project in Chetchnya and AIDS work in Burma.


Member organizations of the Médecins du Monde network accept doctors, nurses, health workers and other technical and administrative personnel, according to the nature of each mission.
Doctors and other health workers must have a recognized university degree and be fluent in (at least) the English language.

Financial Arrangements

All travelling and living expenses are paid. When participating in a mission for more than one month, participants are compensated with a stipend.
